Disagree with that totally, players like Mee, Tarkowski, Cork, Barnes even Wood would walk into our side. Fans are starting to see just how average the majority of our squad are bar Arnautovic and Rice.

The sad fact is that this turd will still be here next season whether we survive or not if Gold has any say in it. Sad times.

Re: moyes gets away with it
I’ve admired Dyche as a manager since he was in charge of Watford. He took over at Burnley from Eddie Howe and went up further in my estimation. He strikes me as a man able to work outside his comfort zone. Looking at Burnley, and no disrespect to them, they are as a team greater than the sum of their parts and this effect is entirely down to the manager and coaching staff.

I think we'll go down also but you can't point the finger at one man alone, Bilic and the players who wouldn't play for him,Moyes and most blame on the board for underfunding both managers and selling the players the managers wanted to keep

I don't think Dyche did that at all to be honest mate.

Dyche set Burnley up as he normally does. They are rigid and strong without the ball and have a few players that can play on the break.

Although we were the better team in the first half we didn't really create any sitters and we weren't peppering them. We had more ball but didn't overly dominate.

Dyche just stood back and realised that at 0-0 he doesn't actually have to anything of note but just keep his team drilled and in formation. He knew they would get a chance sooner or later.

But he has earned the right to do that. It was Moyes that had to do the thinking and use his initiative and creativity to create a situation where we do dominate and create good chances. But he lacks that. Moyes isn't a creative thinker. He just stood there Saturday hoping.

But we all knew that before he rocked up anyway.

Thanks Miike, I was just starting to forget about Arsenal. The owners totally deserve relegation for employing this serial loser.

I was hoping when appointed, he'd do enough for us to stay up, but not enough to keep his job.

I now not convinced that there's a scenario where he loses his job, and we're stuck with him.

A far worse manager than either of our previous two.

Re: moyes gets away with it
He sat there and done fuck all, while Dyche totally out thought and out fought him.

He's taking the club down, just like he took Sunderland down last season.

Re: moyes gets away with it
He was tactically wrong with his team selection, playing Antonio on the left and no striker upfront. Even so first half was good but he should have given Hugill a chance in the second. We should have taken the game to them.

Can't understand those who knock the lad, he hasn't had a chance yet. Wood was someone we 'allegedly' were interested in, goes to Burnley and scores two and assists the third. We were crying out for a big guy upfront and Hernandez does not fit. Apparently Hugill works hard and gives 100%, we need that at the moment.

I'd had enough of the cunt after the arsenal cup game

Re: moyes gets away with it
I thought running stats being low was DIRECTLY down to Bilic and therefore a reason why his continued employment must not be tolerated.

I also thought Bilic playing Antonio as any kind of wing or full-back nevermind on the wrong side was also a reason why his continued employment must not be tolerated.

Where are those people clamouring for Moyes's instant sacking?

That's before we beging to consider his record compared to Slavs.

Anyone?

Re: moyes gets away with it
spot on, it was obvious Moyes was the wrong man for the job after his three previous failures. Only taken on so the Fantasy Island tribute act could continue to deplete the squad and cut costs with a manager wwho won't rock the boat. Roeder was a carbon copy of Moyes, in that he'd also had a nightmare every time he got a lead coaching role, and again was only given the top job to facilitate Brown's asset stripping

Re: moyes gets away with it
The fans reaction to Moyes appointment was because we knew what would happen. He's won 6 out of 23. And we knew it would happen. He is finished as a top level manager and he was so before he got to us. Nothing in his CV told any of us he was the man for the job but once again the board took the cheap option.

You reap what you sow.

Fucking hell ‘our cause’ ?????

.....that’ll be repeat this gutless shit season after season until we get relegated.

Look at what we sign players from struggling clubs OR players struggling at bigger clubs (ON LOAN).

Bottom 3 of the once all important running stats AGAIN this weekend.

Where's all the intensity gone? Has the MOYESIAH over trained them?

Re: moyes gets away with it
How do you reach the conclusion that Moyes gets away with it??We were the better side until the first goal went in & Burnley had hardly had a sniff of our goal, people seem to be forgetting that! The idiots running on the pitch & the protests that followed, while the game was still being played, did absolutely nothing to help our cause. At 1-0 down, we could have still got something from the game. I have no doubt that it contributed a lot to our downfall. As for anyone saying that they want us to get relegated, please have a serious word with yourselves, as that is just plain dumb. I suggest that you go and support another team instead!

Re: moyes gets away with it
Sir Alf is spot on
But Moyes got it wrong yesterday...
Antonio wrong down the left...should have switched him...
Mario Ineffective...
Midfield weak ...Noble too slow...Kouyate out of position most of the time..no cover for the back 4...
Attack unfocused ...no threat down the middle...Hernandez from KO...
Did not counter their second striker at 60 mins...
Hart did not inspire confidence at all...
Yes we had a thin squad available...but Moyes was poor...

Sir Alf 12:56 Mon Mar 12
Re: moyes gets away with it
Current problems link back to losing Arfur and Obiang at Wigan and then further injuries, loss of belief and momentum. There is a massive issue in midfield that when we are pressed or countered results in the shipping of goals by a back line that is exposed. We have a slow and old defensive unit and we end up now having to play kouyate in midfield as there is no one else to pick unless he perhaps tries Cullen? We ran out of steam and ideas at 60 mins as we often do. Watch Kouyate “track” Barnes for the psychologically damaging first goal.

I do not think Moyes is the answer but not sure who could get much more from this squad?
